Y.K. is a licensed and qualified Enrolled Agent (EA) and U.K. Certified Chartered Accountant and has spent the last fifteen years serving both individuals and small business owners. With nearly thirty years of financial and tax services experience, he is dedicated to bringing responsive and reliable services to the Bay Area for reasonable fees.

He has a great record of obtaining refunds for clients through abatement of imposed penalties and getting a “no change” determination or substantially reduced penalties. In the past, Y. K. has achieved a “no change” verdict from the FTB audits of a client which could have resulted in a multi-million dollar assessment. He will always go the extra mile to ensure clients are well informed and their needs met.

Y.K. has lived in the Bay Area Peninsula with his family for twenty-eight years, and is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

A graduate of San Diego State University, Fiona has dual bachelor degrees in Public Health and Political Science. She has a wide range of interests and experience, including working for a tax and bookkeeping firm and the accounts receivable department of a major pharmacy benefit management company.

A former two-term president of her sorority, Upsilon Kappa Delta Sorority Inc., she brings flexibility, fortitude, and a “jack-of-all-trades” mentality to her position here at Y. K. & Associates. With a varied background in event planning and policy research, her view of client issues adds another dimension to our problem-solving.

Her extra course study background in finance and accounting has allowed her to take over managing many of our new clients’ bookkeeping needs since coming here. All IT, computer network, and website management issues are also considered her domain here in our office.

Fiona has recently moved back to the Bay Area after nearly a decade in San Diego and is rediscovering everything she loves about living in the Bay Area.

With her background in accounting, Sabrina is our resident payroll expert. She handles all of our clients’ payroll needs and has a proven record of delivering quality results. Her strong ability to organize projects, track deadlines, and perform multiple tasks accurately and on time provides our company with a very strong payroll department.

In addition to being a very valuable asset to our company, her accountability and strong work ethics help us to maintain our high client service and company standards. Sabrina also loves to take initiative and solve problems for others. She will always do all that she can to assist clients.

Sabrina currently keeps accurate records for over twenty clients with multiple pay cycles and continually looks for ways to expand our payroll department and to expand her expertise in payroll with research and continuing education.

Another long time Bay Area resident, Sabrina currently resides in the Peninsula region with her family.
